As a photographer, I get super excited about fabulous “light”. I get extra excited about great clothing choices. And I get beyond excited when a senior walks in with props or items that create unique and artistic photo opportunites blended with the location and her own personality. So when Camille wanted to photograph her love for ballet, I knew it would be a VERY exciting photography session. In fact, she purchased a dance tutu specifically for her session. And it was GORGEOUS.

In addition to that, she made all the right choices for her other outfits, including a very dressy formal that was “flowy” and beautiful with her coloring, a fashionable hat with skinny jeans and a vest with boots that were perfect for an edgy but sophisticated twist. And as far as her tutu—red lips were perfect.

2012 Senior photo sessions are well under way this summer and we are having fun photographing the new GRADS for the upcoming class of TWENTY TWELVE. I love meeting the seniors from each class and following their successes and accomplishments in the future years. They have the whole world ahead of them and their senior year is the stepping stone that catapults them into it. So many decisions face them this year…and so many happy tears will be shed in the coming year as goodbyes are said and new lives are begun.
