PS: Seniors—did you know? There’s a big difference between “prom makeup” and “camera ready makeup”. And it’s completely different than your everyday makeup too!

When you book our professional makeup artist (you will LOVE Sara!), she knows exactly how to apply your makeup for your senior photo day. But if you prefer to do your own makeup for your portraits, we will guide you every step of the way. Why? Because it matters. Things like blending, matte makeup, no shimmer.

But no worries, we’ve got you covered. You’ll receive our 10 tips from our professional makeup artist when you book your session.

You’ll find out how to make your eyes pop and all about cheek color.

Here are a few tips from our 10 Camera-Ready Makeup Tips guide:

  1. MATTE IS A MUST: Especially for your cheeks. Stay away from shimmer power, no exceptions
  2. BLEND, BLEND, BLEND: When it comes to concealer, cheek contouring and eye shadow, a quality set of brushes is key. The camera will highlight and pick up on unblended edges.
  3. MORE IS MORE: Camera lighting can wash out colors. Don’t be scared of going a shade darker than normal. We’ll help you with this.

FYI: Just a few spots left for Spring 2017 dates (weekends are gone—but we have lots of weekdays!) Contact us for date availability.
