I just returned from TEEN SUMMIT 2016 in Indiana where it was my honor to speak about “Teens and Marketing” to my industry. It was a great conference (preceded by PUSH 2016 the same week).

Photographing teens and tweens (aged from 11 to 16) is so important to me because it’s the “lost generation” in terms of documenting memories! It seems we take great care in photographing young children and seniors, but those years in between somehow get shuffled aside!

We photograph younger siblings both separately and/or together with senior portraits for an older brother/sister. Capturing those early years prior to becoming a teen is so important, but also remembering the special “Sweet 16” is equally precious!
