fun with circle journals and scrapbooking…

But first…a few of you have asked me (lots of emails too!) about the name of the "happy song" and/or the artist (previous entry)…I’m sorry to say that I don’t know! If anyone DOES know, do you mind emailing me or posting it in my comments so I can share with everyone? Thanks :)

Okay…Circle Journals. I’m currently in a group that is winding down…2 more rotations before I get my own Flavors of Life C.J. back! And I’m so excited to see it in person.

Maria recently invited me to join a new group which started this month! There are 8 of us, and I’m so excited that Alette from the Netherlands is included in the group too! I accepted Maria’s invitation because I think it will be a great way to keep me involved in "scrapbooking for fun" while I’m so focused on my photography…I’ve turned down some major Scrapbooking projects and assignments lately, due to my photography business…priorities, you know! I have to manage my time and I’ve needed to draw the line somewhere…I’ve realized that I do need to sleep a few hours once in awhile, LOL! :)

So this really gives me a great reason to play with scrapbooking here and there since I’m so involved in my photography these days…but do keep your eyes open for the April issue of Creating Keepsakes for a super fun and exciting (and timely, hint/hint) article I was involved in…

I’ve received lots of emails asking if I’m going to CHA…the answer? No…in fact, Heidi and I made a difficult decision to turn down a very fun offer of creating Tra-Digi 2 ™ at this time (all together", awwwwww"!), due to both of us being over-extended…I had announced a few months ago after our return from the MT Trade Show of a "surprise"…well, that was the surprise, together with designing a line of products for the book. But as the story goes, there’s only so many hours in the day and together, we felt the timing wasn’t right. 

NOTE: For those of you waiting to receive your Tra-Digi™ book, be lookout super, super soon!!!!  :)

So, for those of you off to CHA / Vegas in a few weeks…have fun!!! It’s an awesome experience for those of you that haven’t been before. So much to see. Be sure to check in with Heidi Swapp’s booth…she sent me a sneak-peek of some of her new products…YOU WILL LOVE THEM!!! Too, too cute. That girl is amazing. (eeks…I just visited her "new" splash page/site while creating this link…AWESOME!!! I LOVE pink and black. LOVE LOVE LOVE it).

Okay…so back to my Circle Journal…

The theme I’ve chosen for my new journal? Being Girly! It’s entitled "Little Girl of My Heart", and will center around layouts that include girly-memories from childhood. I chose a color scheme this time…I’ve asked everyone in the group to use pinks, greens, black, purples, to keep in theme with my whole "girliness" of the journal…chose colors that were fun, dramatic, but girly.
