As a photographer I photograph the physical person but what I strive to CAPTURE is the inner person shining through. THAT’S what transcends all worldly definitions of beauty—the heart of a young woman. Her dreams, her loves, her interests, her desires, her intellect, her true self.

There are, of course, many things that come together to create a beautiful image, technically speaking. And there are certain elements that add to the overall photo-session itself such as colors and textures, carefully planned-out clothing pieces and accessories, location, etc. But when it comes right down to it, THE most important thing in a photograph is the HEART of a young woman. When her heart is captured, the image is BELIEVABLE. Her personality shines through and the image is captivating.

Cassidy and Samantha are 2 of our 2013 Spokesmodels (seniors in the class of 2013!) and are part of our Every Girl is Beautiful campaign this year. They were wonderful to work with and this was a fun late afternoon session. We added a few colorful accessories for fun.
