If you want to wear a fresh and classic look to your senior portrait session, this year’s Pantone Color of the Year is something that will be a classic staple long into the future!

Pantone had a really hard time narrowing down their to 2 picks this year—so they made history by naming them both! Ha—I don’t really know what the story is behind their decision, but let’s just go with that. Besides, I would have a hard time tearing these two lovelies apart!

Soft shades of pink and blue—errr—I mean Rose Quartz and Serenity, have been a gorgeous pairing in fashion through the ages. To make it look updated and fresh, you can combine your favorite denim jeans with a a pink top or tee!

Below, I’ve created a set on my Polyvore account that combines skinnies with a fur jacket. Fur is all the rage and it’s an awesome combo for early spring while the weather is still making up it’s mind as to which way it wants to go. Pull the jacket off when you need to shed a layer and you’re still adorning the color-of-the-year combo with a pink statement necklace revealed under that gorgeous jacket.

Did you know? Polyvore makes it super easy for you to shop this look by clicking the items below! Have fun!

I can’t wait to see what my seniors come up with this spring and summer at their senior sessions! (FYI: Sara has some gorgeous, soft makeup looks to combine with Rose Quartz and Serenity fashions!).
