To my friends, family and faithful readers:

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

In our family, it’s a fun tradition to call each other on the phone and be the FIRST to say "Merry Christmas Eve Gift"…not sure what the reward is other than a fun little chuckle and a smile. Smiles are good. Laughter is even better.

(BTW: GOTCHA, HEIDI.)

In the year 2007, I will be sharing lots of uplifting stories, faith-filled messages, favorite quotes and versus, and inspirational experiences mingled with favorite images from photo sessions taken throughout the year.

I am asking you to be a part of my blogging year! Please EMAIL ME YOUR FAVORITE inspirational story, scripture, faith-filled life experience, quote, etc so that I can share it here on my blog. Be sure to let me know if you would like me to mention your name or not. Email these to me using the email button in my sidebar, above the calendar.

I have a small inspirational gift to send to the selected participant—trust me when I say it’s small but PACKED with rich blessings and inspirations—here is how to enter your name for the gift:

1. Post your name on this entry (your entry will register you as a number "first entry is given the number 1, second entry is given the number 2, etc.—my kids will be choosing the "numbers" from a hat!)

2. EMAIL me your inspirational quote, story, verse, experience, etc. DO NOT POST IT HERE—EMAIL IT TO ME SO I CAN SHARE THEM THROUGHOUT THE COMING YEAR WITH MY READERS, mingled with my own thoughts, stories, etc. again, use the EMAIL BUTTON AT THE TOP OF THE CALENDER IN MY SIDEBAR.

Recipient of the gift to be announced in the next posting on my blog—date to be a mystery but soon!

My sister recently sent me this adorable, UPLIFTING and positive little message. It’s my gift to you today.

Merry Christmas to all—and my you truly be blessed with the TRUE joy and peace that comes from knowing my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

There once was a woman who woke up one morning, looked in the mirror, and noticed she had only three hairs on her head.

"Well," she said, "I think I’ll braid my hair today." So she did and she had a wonderful day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and saw that she had only two hairs on her head. "H-M-M, " she said, "I think I’ll part my hair down the middle today." So she did and she had a grand day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that she had only one hair on her head. "Well," she said, "Today I’m going to wear my hair in a pony tail." So she did and she had a fun, fun day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that there wasn’t a single hair on her head.  "YEA!"  she exclaimed, "I don’t have to fix my hair today!"

Attitude is everything.

"Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle."

I used American Express…it was pretty useless. Worked on very few sites, ended up throwing it away. What are good cards to use and why?.
