When I met with Lacey and her mom for her design consultation I knew her session would be amazing based on her style, personality, interests and vision for her photo session. We talked about several concepts for her senior pictures. For one, she knew she loved the “country field” setting for a specific “vintage pink dress and cowboy boots”. We talked about adding a few vintage flowers. And she loved textured walls and brick and stairs. We chose the location to incorporate all of those things with an added surprise element: Lacey loves to hunt with her dad. And by hunt, I mean BIG GAME.

I loved this session for the variety—from fashionista to vintage country—to gorgeous girls who, oh, just happends to own a big gun for hunting! To set the stage for the love of hunting that she has (it’s a hobby she shares with her dad—a “father-daughter” bond), she brought antlers, her gun, her boots and camo-jacket.

It was amazing to photograph her in all of the various looks…and she pulls them all off so well because she is authentic in her love of fashion…and hunting! I loved getting to know Lacey and her family.

We chose some favorites from her session to share here…
